Good News For People On A Budget At Christmas

My local Tesco yesterday was selling all sorts of fresh vegetables for 19 pence a bag, and big bags of potatoes for 29 pence. Well done Tesco! Just thought I'd pass it on for anyone who might be interested.

We close at 6 pm tomorrow; at about 4pm I'll have to start final reductions on products with 24 and 25 December dates on them, probably loads of it.
I imagine most supermarkets will be doing the same - just check their closing time and go down about 2 hours before - you should get bargains.

Most of the supermarkets sell the veg for next to nothing, this time of year. Its a sprat to catch a mackerel, by the time you've finished doing the rest of your shopping, they will have more than made up for the discounted veg. :0)
