Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Full grid apart from from the 16 empty cells, 8 of which i have filled( unclued down entries) from the missing wordplay letters. Unsure what's next ...the string, final resting place ,move ??

The 'string' is the everyday name for the 37(I think, I'm out so can't check my copy) entry. It appears in the grid, from near the top left and makes it way along.

Close the trap (this will leave 4 empty cells on either side of the open position). You should then have a 2x4 central rectangle - the final resting place for two things that flew).

You've got the 2 (ex)fliers from the V... and the A... extra letters from clues, and if you've put them in the right order you'll have real words throughout (ignoring gaps).

I ve already put the wasp and the flea in the unclued down spaces ....don't know what you mean by "close the trap" ?..join the V to the P ?

Yes, the V from row 4 moves across to be alongside the P, and then the E from row 5 moves across etc etc.

...and you leave gaps where the original positions of V+P were on row 4, ditto row 5 etc etc.
