How many English Cities have more than one football teams, that is teams that play in the top four English leagues!

Nottingham, Sheffield, Bristol, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool,

jj109, Notts County play in the 5th tier so they don't count.
Stoke city and Port Vale
Is Port Vale not based in Stoke?
Are Man Utd in the city of Salford rather than Manchester? So Salford could be in the list- Man Utd and Salford City.
An honourable mention is due to the Gloucestershire village of Nailsworth which is not only the smallest settlement in England with a top-4 division team but also has a second team in the Hellenic League :-)
ff - and that removes Manchester from the list, replaced with Salford.
Yes, a few years ago Stockport would have been on the Manchester list I think, but they are in tier 5 or 6 now
I think Old Trafford may actually be in Trafford which is not part of Salford. I have seen conflicting claims about this.
......and of course all the London clubs are probably not in the City of London. Aston Villa is in Aston etc etc.
