Don't quite get boarding house as an anagram though, no letter i or s?

I think it is compiler's error with boarding house, it is so close to an anagram that I think it is correct.

I think the clue should have been " An honour badge IS needed to stay here" but the compiler wrote it differently destroying the anagram!
