Surely this could've been avoided?
This relates to the deaths of 3 family members in a hotel swimming pool.
Sorry if this was already covered in another thread
Read one report that said a club employee jumped in to try to help and even he could not get out by himself and had to helped out. No doubt the club do not want any bad publicity but hope the real reason is found soon.
Yes, there seems something odd about this given that (according to the mum) all were able to swim and the pool was such that a life guarded wasn't necessary- but the authorities seem sure that it was not suspicious
I suggest the circulating pump pressure has been manually controlled inviting human error.
Otherwise, a failure of a pressure relief valve or governor would allow the full pressure of the pump to enter the pool and knock the victims off their feet.
Did the pool also have a wave making facility? If so this further complicates matters.
iv been swimming and diving since a lad, in all parts of the world.
could they actually swim, mothers say they could?, even so a filter
in a pool is not that strong...not really.

i too found it a strange story, the mother said all could swim, so how come three of them drowned. The little girls hat was found in the filter system so the news report said..
Sky news reported that a member of the family said none of them could swim and ive read elsewhere that the dad climbed down a ladder to get in the pool instead of jumping in.
