Marvel to unveil transgender superhero for a forthcoming film:-

whilst there's no shortage of Trans actors (105 actresses, 14 actors), I personally have only heard of one of them - Holly Woodlawn (as in "Holly Came from Miami FLA" in Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side) - and willing to bet few would be considered bankable box office names.
…...or is it OK for Trans characters to be played by bankable Non-Trans stars?

Not to mention others who are disabled like Charles Xavier and Box (both wheelchair bound), Daredevil (blind) or Puck (dwarf). Representation is nothing new for Marvel Comics. (I'm sure DC Comics also have similar, but I'm not an expert on them, Marvel Comics I collected for 25 years)
