Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Rather later than usual because His Nibs went back to uni yesterday and there was much to be done between us! we found it difficult to part. TBH I found settling down to do the crossie after he'd gone really difficult. I just kept thinking of him instead of the clues! I shall certainly miss him after a wonderful holiday with him. He is so beautiful and full of fun. I shall certainly miss waking each morning and being able to gaze at his lovely face. Like with everything else he is first class at sleeping!!! And to see his face in repose....... Oh boy. Roll on Easter!!

I did eventually manage the crossie (it turned out to be quite an easy one I'm happy to say). There's only one clue which I can't quite work out
27d Characters is steamship meticulous about speeds. With the letters I have the answer seems to be "tempi" which is speeds but the rest? Please help explain.
