Crying over spilt Cream!
7 Answers
Hello everyone! I hope someone can help me?!
My mum dropped a full pot of Double cream on the Carpet in the kitchen and everything that i have tried to do to stop the horrible smell doesnt seem to work! It smells like sick now and is not at all pleasant! My mum used carpet cleaner which failed, i used Dettol which failed and i have now gone and bought a Bissell carpet cleaning machine and have used it 4 times on the area but each time it dries the disgusting smell returns!! Any ideas folks?
Thanks in advance!

I did advise my Mum not to have carpet fitted inthe Kitchen for that very reason but she is stubborn and told me that she didnt want cold feet if she had a stone floor etc. It is proper carpet designed for Kitchens (Flotex) and is supposed to be stain resisitant, soil resistant etc but its not! Surprise Surprise! I have heard on a few web sites to use Baking Soda but all my Mum has is Baking Powder or Bicarbonate of Soda are these things in anyway similar? Im not sure and dont want to ruin or make the carpet anyworse than it already is! I never would have deamed that a pot of Cream could cause so much aggro!!
Thanks again everyone and keep up the good work!
