I have just about finished today's puzzle but there's one clue I can't quite get the working . And another where I'm not really sure that my possible answer is correct

26 ac is the one where I'm really not sure if I've got the right word

Bear, say, getting caught in in elaborate trap, oddly. With the letters I have, the answer could well be' tetrapod', as a bear is a four legged animal. The letters I have by the way are t?t?a?o?
