its to do with the activation code...

I'm not home, and not really an expert as I just follow instructions and they seem to work: but as I recall a new installation asks for the code and you type it in. If it doesn't then there's probably an option on the 'about' menu to get you to the input window.

can't get them on the phone, nor understand their website. I have put in the activation code and that seemed to be accepted. But i can't find anything else.

Assuming it's installed try clicking on it's icon. See if it turns up bottom right.

i have clicked on every icon that i have on my laptop
nothing happens. I will have to wait for tech support on Monday, as they don't appear to be available to speak to

does any one know what HTTP 404 not found means
as i try and log into My Kaspersky and that is what i get constantly...

The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly.

thanks, can't understand why i can't access my account with Kaspersky. Looks like i will have to wait till tomorrow to determine what is wrong.
