Sinks blocked. We have a large sink and a small one next to it. Both are blocked.
OH has spent hours on it today. Managed to check all the traps, all ok. Cannot undo main outlet pipe. Re assembled all traps but leaking. SIL coming round in the morning to see if he can fix it. It's amazing all the stuff you have "under the sink" the kitchen is awash with it all.
Good job we have a downstairs loo with a basin!

Oh no Caran, I hope your SIL can sort it for you.

I do too, there has been a lot of language coming from kitchen today!
I bet there was.
Did you try chucking sink/drain unblocker down it?
Question Author
Bought some today but he preferred to try it manually.
Never? I always chuck a bit down from time to time to stop any build-up. Hope you get sorted in the morning. ;-)

Me too!
I put soda crystals followed by boiling water down the sink regularly. Helps to stop grease and gringe build up

All sorted now. SIL came it's his box of tricks and cleared it all and put the bits back together with no leaks.
Took ages to put all the stuff back under the sink and to do two days washing up. But never mind eh!
Glad it is fixed Caran.
Caran, get yourself some little baskets to put things in under the sink. I have three baskets and so only have to remove those if someone needs to get to the plumbing.
