same answer as before! i have ghds too and they have always been fine! if you are really worried about it go into a hairdressers and ask them if they use anything specific...the only thing i would say is avoid touching the plates with your fingers as the oil in your hands can affect them in some way...not sure what, just what my hairdresser told me! happy cleaning sarahovery x
