Walk In Bath
can anyone give me a clue as to how much it would cost to buy and have a walk in bath fitted please?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I looked into the pros and cons five years ago and decided on an Aqualift seat which lowers you into the bath, then you press a button when you're finished and you're lifted up out of the water. Best thing I've ever bought. The only think that might be difficult is 'getting your leg over' (!!!) when you're getting into the bath. Cost was over £1200 then, don't know what it is now, but I do love a bath as opposed to a shower. (aged 79).

yes we are talking about the same thing....I guess its different if you are the only person using the bath or everybody uses the aqualift. If its in a family bathroom then the band would need to be retracted completely into the machine for anyone else to use the bath. Does the seat slide on the band? the one I saw and tried had a fixed seat and as the band is fixed at one side, as the band goes up and down, the person had to shuffle sideways to stay in the "loop"of the band
