I was shocked at the storyline last night with someone setting fire to the house Gemma was in with her Quads. Poor taste in my opinion. Anyone else feel the same?

If good taste were a consideration, most soaps would be limited to one episode a week.
I found it more insulting to them that no one seemed bothered,
Abi put the fire out and just walked away, didn't even ask if they were ok.
Some one (cant remember who) told Kevin and Ti in the pub and they just said oh really and then carried on with their conversation.
In reality if there was a fire and an ambulance the whole street would be out.
I’ve watched it since I was a kid with my mum, but for the first time I’ve given up watching it in the last 6 weeks or so as it’s become so miserable, depressing and just utterly far fetched.
It was probably that Kel.
I too was shocked at how underwhelmed everybody was at what could have been a terrible tragedy ! And how anybody could do it also on a small busy street like that with people passing all the time and houses across the street, was daft too.

I also agree with the OP, poor taste.
