I fostered young people short term and only stopped because I moved house and wanted a break. It is hard work and challenging and oh boy do you need a sense of humour , but the rewards are outstanding, the feeling you get when a youngster placed with you responds is just wonderful.it hurts when they move on ,but it is balanced by the wonderful gift you have when they are with you. If you are considering it I say go for it, you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Good Luck let me know how you get on .
