How far ahead of your period do you guys get pms i'm not due on for two weeks and i feel like sh1te today my hormones are all over the place i have this insane urg to attack the snack machine and eat all the chocolate inside and then cry. a lot aggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i'm not normally like this it usually only gets me a couple of days before, oh and if anyone male dares to speak to me.......

although walking home and having a big glass of wine in the garden whilst chatting to my neighbours has helped loads, i don't feel like i want to kill anyone now

thank you mccluff your thread has really helped me, but let me get this straight: MEN can put a man on the moon but not come up with a suitable remedy for pms? Bizarre. You'd think it would be their no 1 priority wouldn't you what with being on the recieving end and all; but, maybe that's why they invented overtime...hahahahaha.

Glad you are feeling better. I am too and again nice to know that I am normal and not some schizo which I was beginning to wonder at.

p.s I did read on the net today though, that studies have shown that 70% of women who are convicted of violent crime commit the offence during this time of their cycle. It is such stark factual evidence that they are calling for it to be a legitimate line of defence like crime passionelle. freaky, huh? "sorry your honour, I didn't mean to smash in his car with a crow bar and stick a lighted rag in the petrol cap; but I was due on my period, you know what it's like...."

i love that line of defence, will have to keep it in my bag of tricks for when my boss next does my head in! its just not fair, why the hell do we have to put up with this, I know the men go they have to put up with us, but i's rather just not go through it full stop especially as i don't have a man to rag on, if you'll excuse the pun!

Whats a period?
I was on the deprovera injection for 5 years and in all that time only had a show for about 5 separate days.
I've now been off it for 5 months and still not had a period, so I'm waiting for the mother of all ! and expect the PMS to go with it ;-(

I get bad pms about 2 days before my period. Its awful. I get at everybody and feel very emotional.....and like you I feel like eating anything fattening!!!

mimififi, my mother swears by oil of evening primrose and vitamin B6 to help with her PMS. She used to be an absolute cow when my sister and I were growing up (and readily admits it too!) Since she's been taking the above two remedies, she has mellowed a lot.

Worth a try!

Awww thanks mccfluff, I'm sure I'm gonna need someone to lean on, only got my kids at home. Poor little ******* well not so little as it goes. I'm going to stock up on pingping's remedies i'm sure anythings worth a go. xx
