I have just looked at my online banking account and I cannot believe that a payment of £7.99 has been taken out of my account for the Amazon Prime.

Not in a million years did I apply for this.

Can anybody tell me how to contact Amazon Prime and get the payment refunded and cancelled. Thanks

//MartinMillar - didn't know you knew me so well but according to the link you provided that last cancellation of the Amazon was 3 years ago.//

Yes strange that Jenny. A "new" member for 4 days and knows about your posts from 3 years ago. Mind how you go.
Its very simple to type JennyJoan + Prime into the search box, togo.
That's exactly what I did in the morning, it's not that difficult.

I am aware of that zacs master.....but why would you do that when you cannot possibly know Jenny? Unless of course you know different and our "new" member does indeed know Jenny and a lot more that 4 days, 1 question, and 7 answers would normally suggest.
Because ummmm had already pointed out she'd done it before.
^Any rules broken then?
>I am very careful and aware of that wee tiny link - I avoid it like the plague

I think you misunderstood, jenny. It was being suggested that you choose that wee tiny link
Perhaps stick to the OP.

I am always extremely careful when checking out my purchases on Amazon, it can be a bit of a minefield.
So? That would mean nothing to a "new" member. A "new" member that has learned the site layout and busybody ways in 4 days....Haha don't make me laugh. As I said. Mind how you go.
I guess we'll never know. What threat do you perceive this new member to be, togo?
Best report it to the Ed then, Togo, or stop pointing things out that are unnecessary.
Back to the main thread, yes, it is easy to get caught out- the layout is cleverly designed to catch you out. Similar tricks are used by the Trainline and other sites
Youngster members, and I don't know how old the new member is, tend to get used to layouts quickly. The amount of different sites they use.

oh the way I would put it is: amazon prime will affect climate change and is a major suspect in the rise of cancer cases noticed this year
Speculation about new users can stifle the thread and make people feel unwelcome. There is nothing to say a new user hasn't been following activity on The AnswerBank before they decided to join.
Apologies Peter if I didn't quite word it the way you wanted me too.

just an update - the prime has been cancelled. Now I'm sure you were wondering since it was only £7.99 taken but that last time - they had taken £7.99 and £79.99 which of course they refunded then too.
