Rubbish Comedians?

There are so many rubbish comedians on the television.
If I try to watch them, they do nothing for my chuckle gland.
Not only are they not funny, but some scrape the barrel and resort to crudity to try to get a laugh.
Some make me really laugh, Only Fools And Horses for example, but most are rubbish.
I am perp!axed why Ant /Dec remain popular, total unfunny stupidity.
What are your thoughts?

I saw Mike and Bernie Winters in a panto one year, I thought they were hilarious ( I was 8 or 9 years old ! ).

I remember Eric and Ernie being interviewed on TV, and the interviewer asked them what they would have been if they hadn't been comedians.

Quick as a flash, Eric said "Mike and Bernie Winters!"

He said it with a smile, but there may have been a little professional malice in there!

I would have to agree though, I always thought Mike and Bernie were as funny as dysentery on a coach holiday.

I've worked with, and drank with, people who were funnier than a lot of the comedians.
My father in law was one.

Can't remember the last comedian who made me laugh, either in a sitcom or stand up. Yet I can laugh at animals doing daft things and I have friends who make me laugh til I'm am in agony
