sorry for not getting back with an update, the cheque was sent from nationwide uk insurance, its cashed, i emailed nationwide beforehand and told them i did nt want this £75 as it would not be enough to cover my flights and hotels etc .
i have no idea why they gave me this amount and again i told them to scrap my claim as i didnt want to go ahead with it as they would not accept my video evidence.
also.....i was in bugaria last week, my bags were delayed from amsterdam to sofia....therefore i had only one set clothes and it was very hot ...i went to buy new clothes total approx 120 pounds but i still have not put in for a claim for that ...i have all reciepts and proof my bag was delayed .....
do you think i should claim this £120 or still let it go ?

The clock is ticking on this one which, like Lofty23's, could be a real wind-up. I say this because of the way the pendulum is swinging from a 'no-claim situation' to one of a possible liability be resolved with Insurers.
