It's actually called 'Let's face the music and dance' - and has been covered many times by artists including Robbie Williams and Frank Sinatra

It was sung by Fred Astaire in a movie called The Fleet's In. Music br Irving Berlin and words by Frank Sinatra

I'm sure emandvee won't mind a gentle correction: the film where the song first appeared is called Follow the Fleet and the music and lyrics were by Irving Berlin.
(The Fleet's In is a different song entirely.)


Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers did an amazing dance routine to this song (it's actually the highlight of the whole film). Ginger's dress had to have weights sewn into the cuffs as well as the hem to allow the dress to hang properly during the routine and it is reported that more than once poor Fred got clonked by the weighted cuffs! Being a true professional, he didn't let it bother him.
