It looks like they certainly have along with many others. I have just found this link a year after the Boxing day floods in Radcliffe. Residents feared a repetition then despite Council promises. There are pictures of Radcliffe in the gallery of the article.

Strewth as if yesterday wasn't enough we now have snow. Roads that were closed due to flood of fallen trees now closed due to snow. Up at Bala and Trawsfynyedd and across Denbigh as far as Wrexham. We have had a few heavy flurries and a massive hail storm a few minutes ago. We were going to have a run out tomorrow to see one of "She who must be obeyed's" ex work colleagues who has been flooded in Llanrwst. Plan A was to take her for a bit of lunch but that looks less likely by the hour.
