In summary then, just another gobby kid.
>Because the BBC's commercial arm is jetting around the world being hypocritical?
That doesn't follow. I think it's what PP calls a non-sequitur. The BBC are making a programme which they think will generate revenue. They are not campaigning for Greta's crusade, Extinction Rebellion or anyone else. So there's no hypocrisy.
won't be watching..
I don't like her manner or the way she is being used and fawned over, but I may listen in to see how she presents herself. I'd also like to see her interviewed and challenged though by someone who could press her on issues such as why she doesn't focus on countries like China and India.
There are many TV stations that commission documentaries on all sorts of subjects

Some good , some bad , depend on your personal opinions

Personally I think that I shouldn't have to pay a direct tax to watch programmes on the box

However that doesn't mean that the BBC should not make programmes on certain subjects

If you dont like it dont watch it.

The only problem here for most is they are forced to pay for it. Make the BBC subscription and they can do what the hell they like without fer of objection.
Ooooh no, you don't want to watch that!

(It might just change your mind or knock that chip off your shoulder, eh!)
I think it's really unfortunate that she doesn't fixate upon the most important problem that we are facing: Overpopulation and all it's tangental issues.
Global warming is being exacerbated by.......overpopulation (or at least how the current amount of the worlds population use fossil fuels)
The comments section of the Mail online really is dire isn't it? Total cesspit.

I always put my waders on before I look in there.
TheDevil - // The comments section of the Mail online really is dire isn't it? Total cesspit. //

Always remember, The Mail Online is in a time warp - it's still 1973, and people are titillated by 'side boobs', and 'showing off fabulous curves' and similar outdated nonsense.

''They are not campaigning for Greta's crusade''

How do you know that?
Why, she has no scientific knowledge, are they(we) paying her, her parents friend is making a lot of money from her.
The BBC seem full doublethink on the Amazon Rainforest ie trees now bad.

"Every two weeks for the past 10 years, a team of scientists led by Professor Luciana Gatti, a researcher at Brazil's National Institute for Space Research (INPE) has been measuring greenhouse gasses by flying aircraft fitted with sensors over different parts of the Amazon basin."
