Yes I am easily confused,so I will play the age card again,
Today Thelland on another thread said he had zapped a spammer,
Someone said didn’t know you were a moderator Thelland,
I am not he replied,
So my question is who can zap spammers and how do you do it?

only moderators and Ed, Spare Ed can do it. i think he probably just reported it, that goes through to the team who can do it.

to be clear, as I understand it, mods don't see reports, only the Ed team.

Maybe Theland meant that he reported the spammer and after doing so, the spam was removed

you have to keep on top of it, otherwise they have a tendency to over whelm the site.
