Seasonal Shopping

Is there anything that’s sold only seasonally that you wish you could buy all year round? It occurred to me today that Hot Cross buns would be on my list - and then thoughts of big tubs of Quality Street that only seem to be on sale at Christmas, and summer clothes for those winter trips to hot climes, entered the fray. Just pondering.

However, you don't need to drive quite that far as Edis the butcher in St John St, Bury St Edmunds also sells Suffolk "black back" bacon (and other kinds of course) but doesn't charge Peasenhall prices! Their sausages are great too.
Ambrosia used to make a seasonal christmas sauce, simply called "Desert Sauce". It was lovely with mince pies/christmas pud. I wanted it to be available all year but it never was. They don't make it any more. I phoned them to ask why, and the girl on the phone said she didn't know. They just don't! Good innit?!!
