Smellies for a teenage boy

I need to buy some aftershave/cologne for a 17 yr old boy. He's a bit of a hit with the girls and looks a couple of years old than his age.

Can anyone advise me of the 'in' and 'trendy' fragrances at the moment for young men?

I think the Hugo Boss original fragrance is lovely on anyone!

- Cool Water
- Any of the Paco Rabanne ones in the ball shaped bottle

carolina herrera does a lovely one called 212 men, it's quite different smelling. other than that cool water is always a hit - I remember my first boyfriend in school wearing it.

my brother is the same age he wears davidoff cool waters, fahenheit by Christian Dior is gorgeous all the guys used to wear that when I was in college and one by Lacoste which is in a grey/silver package thats quite nice too.

Apparently Pi by Givenchy is good, according to 19yr old girl at counter. Which is who he'd want it to smell good to ;-)

My son wears Hugo Boss Energise and everyone comments on it , I must admit it is REALLY nice and the smell lingers for ages
