Hi all - does anyone have a copy of yesterday's DM in paper version (or saw this online). I have been asked at work to find some kind of poem that was in yesterday's about 'how the little things matter in life'. I have no further info and a search brought up nothing.

poem a little light relief .... there's glory in the little things, the day to day ,to day the gardens which we cultivate . the weeds along the way. there's soothing comfort brewed inside a hot and steaming mug, a world of welcome in a smile and a healing hug . and so it seems no matter the where ,the when, the how, if hearts and minds are open we will find a bit of wow!...

poem a little light relief ....
there's glory in the little things,
the day to day ,to day
the gardens which we cultivate .
the weeds along the way.
there's soothing comfort brewed inside
a hot and steaming mug,
a world of welcome in a smile
and a healing hug .
and so it seems no matter
the where ,the when,the how,
if hearts and minds are open
we will find a bit of wow!
when dawn peeps shyly through the dark
well,there,right there,is hope,
while spring, arms filled with primroses ,
will help the world to cope.
there's joy in musicsoaring high
from tiny,feathered throats,
to celebrate creation with divinely gifted notes.
thus ,throughout all ages
the same refrain rings true,
it's all the lovely little things
that light and guide us through.
Oh, thats lovely. Thanks mallyh
Do you know who wrote it? I can't find anything when googling.
it just says it was sent in by tricia sturgeon ,mundesly Norfolk
Tricia Sturgeon lives in a coastal village in North Norfolk and in the past has written for My Weekly magazine, The Friendship Book, and has had works published in the Daily Mail. She has also appeared on BBC Radio Norfolk several times to read her poetry.
That's beautiful.
