I'm sorry that I have had to postpone your surprise birthday outing treat.....bloody virus!

I'm sorry that you don't have a gift to open. It is somewhere in the house but I can't remember where I hid it......I have searched and searched today........bloody memory!

I'm sorry we can't meet our friends for the celebratory drinks planned in the pub later today.....bloody virus!

We could open some fizz and have a duvet day but the way things are going the doorbell would keep ringing with friends popping in............. ;-)

Thanks for all the birthday wishes - it's quite a strange one here - the usual National Party for Dave's Birthday (aka Paddy's Day) is very much on hold.
