ridged finger nails.

I assume that ridged fingernails suggest some sort of vitamin/mineral deficiency. I mean ridges the length of your nails not that white bits. Does anyone know? many thanks

Koilonychia is usually caused through iron deficiency anemia. these nails show raised ridges and are thin and concave. Seek a physicians advice and treatment.

When I developed Psoriaristic Arthritis a lot of my fingernails developed deep ridges along the whole length of the nails. Worse on my thumbnails. Any problems with joints?
