Reading festival help

We are going to Reading next Saturday and my husband has just decided he doesn't fancy driving all the way, so we will get the train from Surbiton to Reading station. Could anyone who has been in the past tell me how far it is to the venue from the station and whether there are special buses to and from the festival?

the festival site is 15mn walk from reading station, I guess all you need to do on arrival is follow the crowd - the site postcode is RG1 8EQ, you can get map from Multimap.

there are busses, and they are laying on specials, but it is only a 15 minute walk from reading station
