Planning - Possible To Live In A Bus In My Friend Large Rural Garden / Temp / No Neighbours
1 Answers
My friends own a house with huge garden in rural Somerset. No neighbours. We are staying with them temporarily as 3 house purchases have fallen through leaving us in a pickle as now the estate agents are not taking viewings so we are stuck here ! Our friends have invited us to just stay indefinitely until corona / problems relax and we can buy a house. We are in a very small caravan with several dogs and very cramped as it was only supposed to be for 2 wks. So we had a ‘bright’ idea - buy a double decker...convert it and live in it until things get back to normal-ish. My husbands a builder so it won’t take long. When we move on they will keep it as ‘rent’ and use for friends and maybe air B&B. The garden and house are rural - no neighbours. There is a road where we could be seen. Importantly - The bus would be moveable so *not* a permanent structure. Are we right in thinking it would not need any planning permission. We have no intention of staying longer than needed - we just need to keep busy and be more comfortable as renting would eat into our savings, Thankyou
