Seriously Concerned I May Have Been Exposed To The Coronavirus

Hi there, this is genuine. On Tuesday and Thursday last week I went to a local bar for 1 pint, I sat on my own but I did touch services, handle cash and drink out of a pint glass. On Friday morning I saw an article online in my local paper. I can't attach the link on this iPad. Foundry Bar Perth courier urged to shut. Apparently the manager had emailed staff on the Tuesday saying he was self isolating because of suspected Coronavirus symptoms and the staff my be at risk yet remained open until they were forced to close on Friday. I have been self isolating since Friday and I intend to for 14 days maximum incubation period. Obviously I am very anxious I contacted the Environmental health department on Friday afternoon and they said they were satisfied the Foundry had followed all correct hygiene procedures. I had managed to track the whistleblower down but he does not know if the staff member is a confirmed case or not. Trying to do CBT thing where is the evidence? Someone else said the manager May have made it up trying to take a sickie. I am type 2 diabetic with atrial fibrillation a BMI of 39. A few higher risk factors. I have not slept for 2 nights. Physically I feel fine no fever or cough

Just because you *MIGHT* have been exposed to the virus doesn't necessarily mean that you have contracted it.

However, I appreciate that you are on a waiting game now. You are doing the right thing by self-isolating. As Lynne says, until / unless you start to exhibit any of the symptoms, you're almost certainly fine.

Try not to fret about 'might be'. Otherwise life will be nothing but worry. Whatever will be will be, and they were saying 80% of us will get it anyway. Trust in being part of the 20% until it's proven otherwise. Just don't take unjustified risks.
