There is a Missing and Found section in the Daily Mail every Saturday and today's item is about someone trying to find long lost cousins called Joyce and Phyllis Morley born in 1941 and 1942 who used to live in Taunton Street Ancoats before it was destroyed in a German air raid. Their parents were called Richard and Gertrude. Wondered if the names meant anything to you as they may have stayed in the same area afterwards. Just a thought

Thanks for the post, BD. Sorry for the late reply. I hardly use this site now. However, in answer to your OP, I am not familiar with those names, but I did know Taunton Street. It's all very posh now with fancy apartments, the total, total opposite of how it used to be. Thanks again BD. I appreciate your post.
