Bought a cheap shelving unit a couple of years ago for the garage we moved it while we sorted the garage out and now it has started to wobble, we have tightened all the screws and made sure the cross bars are tight, but still it wobbles.
Any ideas please.

a wooden shelf, id get a some roof battons behind it.
If it's one that stands on the floor, Rosy, then fix a couple of these to the unit and to the walls (maybe one each side)...........

Are the shelves going out of square when they wobble or are they rocking on the stand and staying square?
Two right angle brackets, each end under each shelf will keep it steady. It's possible to get some that a of flat steel so are easily fitted and will do the job.

Johnk - seems just to slant over, i will try and put some corners on it, i think i have some brackets knocking about, wonder if they will work?
Screw some wooden cross struts onto the back to stop it trying to change shape. Triangles are more stable than rectangles.

Sounds like the metal ones' screws might need tightening up.
Rosy, could you put up a pic of the unit and the opening it's standing in?
