The Good And The Bad Things

of self-isolation that have happened to you. Any stories? I'll start.
Yesterday my lovely neighbour tapped my door to tell me she had left me some flowers. I opened the door to find a large ceramic bowl filled with tulips. How kind and thoughtful. This lady is suffering from cancer herself. Also I have had messages now from 5 of the flats in my building offering help with shopping or anything else I need. One is taking my rubbish out for me.
On the not so good side, the chemist has failed 4 times in the last week to delivery my BP tablets. I won't bore you with the excuses. Then the District Nurse didn't come yesterday as planned to change my dressing. So I now have to somehow hold by boob out of the way with one hand while I get the plaster in the correct place with the other. Not easy. Any suggestions welcome;-)

Can you lift the boob out of the way with a bra or make it a sling, tied around your neck with a scarf. Use a mirror to see the dressing. Good luck

I too have had some lovely kind offers of help and little gestures from my neighbours too - heart warming really.

I have had notes from neighbours pushed through my letterbox telling me to phone or text them should I need anything.

Good news then great, and my BP tablets have arrived hurrah.
Mamya thanks you for your suggestion. The thing is when I lie down I still have to move my boob over a little with one hand and have the plaster in the other, As I don't have a ceiling mirror (now LOL) I can't see whether I'm actually covering the wound. I had to do it myself last time when the plaster came off after a shower and I got it wonky with the sticky edge only just missing the wound. So I'll give calm's suggestion a try but think I'll use Gaffer Tape to stick other boob out of the way. That should do it;-)

What if you bent over a mirror...let things dangle. Could you access things better?

Mamya true. Just had a thought. I wonder if any of the guys in my flats who have offered their services would consider helping me with this problem haha.
