Download mp3 music from Spotify?

Dunno if any of you guys use Spotify music streaming to listen to all your favorite music or not.

But I was just wondering, would it be possible to also download or save mp3 music streaming from Spotify subscription in any way? My crappy phone does not get along with Spotify streaming it seems and I'd love o be able to get a couple of mp3 tracks on it.

Any ideas on how I could save Spotify music streaming?

Yeah, suppose you can just get bundles of mp3 tracks from Spotify. The more tracks you get bundled the cheaper it gets, I think.

The Spotify subscription might also be useful, you can get one that works for mobile phones.The thing is that for that one you need to have a compatible device if you want to get the music with you on your mobile phone.

As far as actually managing to download or save streaming music from Spotify, I don't know if it is possible or not.

Neah, don't think you should bother to figure out how to download music streaming from Spotify.

Not that it would not be worth it to find good music in there cause it probably is, but there surely must be some security in place for the music you stream online from Spotify that would prevent you to catch and download Spotify music streams straight from them.

If you get a new phone guess you would not have to worry about how to download and save music streaming from Spotify to get it on the phone, just choose one of the supported devices and you're set.

Didn't know there's some protection on their music streams that does not let you download or save Spotify streaming music or something like this.

Bummer I guess, since I don't have any of the devices they say it works with their mobile subscription.

Good question I suppose, never tried to see if it is possible or not to download music streaming straight from Spotify or anything like this.

The easiest way out is that you probably should get a new phone or some device that actually supports Spotify music streaming.

But if that is not an option, maybe you can also try that trick with the cache folder that used to work for youtube videos, if I recall correctly.

If you manage to find the Spotify cache folder, there might be a possibility to find and save Spotify music tracks straight from there to some other folder and then just convert Spotify music to mp3, if those are in some format that's not compatible with your device.

Might be a stupid idea, but who knows.

Don't think the Spotify cache trick will work to save Spotify music tracks that way.

They have some pretty nasty protection on Spotify music streaming, that one prevents you to download or save Spotify streaming from them and will most likely not let you save Spotify tracks from the Spotify cache folder or anything like this either.

I know it seems like a pretty good way to save mp3 music from Spotify online streaming subscription this way, but unfortunately I don't think there is any app that can extract and convert Spotify music to mp3 from there.

Have you already tried recording music from Spotify?

Since it's not possible to download Spotify music streaming and save it to computer, than you might be able to simply record Spotify music and save the recordings to the hard disk.

There are a couple of apps that are able to record any sound that comes through your sound card; Spotify music is played back through the sound card so you should be able to capture and record Spotify streaming tracks this way.

You can find some sound recorder programs on the web I think, one of those might also be able to handle Spotify streaming and record Spotify to mp3 for you, or at least I think.

Nope, that didn't cross my mind it could be possible. I was thinking that downloading Spotify music was the only way to do it.

Hmm, nope.

Dunno now any specific sound recording app that could work for you to record Spotify music, I haven't tried to record or save music from Spotify streaming 'till now.

But I guess you can just look them up on the internet, surely there are some apps that could be used as spotify recorders or something like this.

No that hard to record Spotify music to mp3 on your computer if you ask me, but you do need something in the line of a Spotify Recorder rather than a usual sound recorder.

The sound recorder will usually pick up any sounds that come through the sound card when you set it up to record Spotify music for you, I think.

Saw round there that it's some sort of stream recorder that works to capture and record Spotify music streams to mp3 tracks, without picking up any other computer sounds while it's set up to record Spotify.

Oatetom, that Audials Spotify Recorder looks quite interesting.

Gonna start with this one and see how it works to capture and record Spotify music streaming to mp3 songs on my computer, hope it's something not that hard to use.

Sure beats installing all sorts of sound recorders on my good ole pc and having to figure out which ones work or not for me to record music from Spotify streaming.
