Just changed my bath tap's and cant get one of the joints to stop leaking.

Depends where the leak is.
If it's on a threaded connection make sure the nut has not been cross threaded, it should be quite easy to tighten by hand and a spanner used for possibly only the last turn.
If it still leaks at that point try winding some PTFE tape around the thread or even a bit of mastic should seal it.
