The colour purple and magic

I am a metal artist and make metal runes and other things associated with runes. It is traditional that runes and the like are kept in a purple bag and it appears that the colour purple has some connection with magic, could someone explain what this connection is.

Ratter - loved the runes, do they have the same meanings as the scandanavian ones? I saw some like the ones you make when I visited the yorvik centre in york. Where dothe descriptions on your website of the individual rune come from (the details like colour, tree, deity etc)?

You never worked at Harrods and I doubt that there is much truth in the rest of your purported CV. However, one thing in your favour is that you tell us the glaringly obvious "Catherine never studied art". Even a blind Devonian on a galloping horse can see that. Hi Samuel, yes most of my runes are the scandinavian runes, the individual runes known as the Elder Futhark are the equivilant of our Alphabet, with FUTHARK being the first 7 letters and it being the oldest and original is known as the ELDER.

I have also made some talisman and other charms of good fortune all based on the runes.

You have probably noticed I have a stalker, who delights in trying to put me down, and my partner for some reason, he appears a little unstable, so I wont divulge the source of my info on here, but it does come from a very reliable source of international standing in the runic community.
