I spoke to the sender and they offered a replacement, I said no because Parcelforce might not deliver again, they've offered refund too, at least they are being nice, not like Parcelforce!
I guess Parcelforce don't need to be nice to you. You aren't their customer, and they reckon their employee delivered. Parcelforce can be nice to the sender instead.
I am awaiting a small parcel for about a week now - noticed a parcel lying in my neighbour's front garden - (just threw on the lawn) - I looked at it thinking it could be for me but it is another address - quite a bit from where we live. Parcel is now lying there about 2 days (from Hermes) - her sons have been visiting with two cars but nobody is lifting it.
they should have a tracking number and be able to show you a picture of the signature. Also check your neighbours, I had this once and they'd delivered to next door but they put it in his shed and never told him!
Yes I have copy of signature, not mine! Looked around property and neighbourhood, no joy, sender will refund money which is good, but it's the attitude of Parcelforce that upsets me.
as said, Parcelforce is the sender's problem, not yours. If they screw up enough, they'll lose the contract with the merchant. Meantime you'll get a delayed delivery, which in these times of slow living is the new normal.
