I'm not sure but it takes a great deal of knowledge and expertise to become a Queen's Counsel. You've also got to be an exceptionally good QC if people throughout this country (and indeed throughout the world) seek out your services and are prepared to pay thousands of pounds per hour for them. And if you can manage to do all of that while still having to wake up next to Tony Blair every morning . . . .?
