I thought that power cuts might be on the cards and checked our petrol generator was working and a supply of jerrycans of petrol were full. At least we can save our freezer food.

I wish the newspapers would stop this doom and gloom stuff. Now there will be a panic on candles and batteries!!!
I have not heard of significant power outtages in other countries who have serious Covid-19 problems.
I'm getting to the stage where I shall be pleased if the electricity does go off to some extent - at least then I shan't have to read anymore "Armageddon" type reporting.
