Sorry LB...I've only just seen this. I think things in A and N can get lost.
I don't know what's happening to the 2 main local sanctuaries here. I know one has ceased normal operations, the others website has not changed. No mention of covid.
The major rescues will, hopefully, find other ways to get financial support such as online quizzes, etc. That's what Foreverhounds Trust...where Sammi and Sally came from ...are doing. They started last week I think.

Good yours is trying new ways to financially support itself pasta and I hope more attempt to do the same. I expect some will try crowd funding.
Feeding all the different zoo animals must be incredibly expensive, goodness knows how they will make enough to keep going. I've seen enough pics of starving animals in zoos abroad, I don't want to see them from here.

It never occurred to me Naomi until I read it in the newspaper. I wonder if there is a chance of government funding because as a country of animal lovers pictures of dead and dying elephants and such like would be unacceptable I think.
Perhaps the likes of Simon Cowell and Brian May, who are very rich known animal lovers can step up with a few million big ones here.

I'm a fairly rich pensioner but there's a limit to what I can give.
