anyone got this , or has anyone had the operation to fix it , and did it work?

Mt Ex wife had it, was a very straight forward operation and it worked a treat, in and out of hospital the same day.

Hiya i had my right hand done about ten years ago and its been fine since then,before the op i used to get pins and needles halfway up my arm,lots of pain and my arm used to go blue,Good Luck hope all goes well for you.

One of the mums at school had a operation on both
hands ten years ago. She made a full recovery and has very little trouble now.

Im really behond feb up with it now , I have a split and I havent been offered any frugs or injections for it at all.
I was awake til 6.30 this morning , ended up in tears due to the frustration of the whole thing.
any tip to ease would be great!

my mate at the min is waiting to go into hospital,shes been told the op may work it may not,shes on the pc at work all day and some days she has to wear these things on her wrists so weve just got our fingers crossed it works

Immerse your hand(s) in hot water past the wrist. for me this gives pretty good relief.
Have spent many an hour sitting on the side of the bath with my hands in a sinkful of water.

For me the operation gave probably 80% relief on the right hand. Not yet had the left done because I am a professional driver and 3 months off work isn't an attractive proposition at present.

It's reckoned that the longer you have had the problem then the less chance of full cure from the operation.

But my attitude is that if this is the worst problem with my health then I'm doing ok. There's people I was at school with who are wearing wooden overcoats now.
