Hi folks, need your advice again.
We have a click and collect order to get from Asda tomorrow. Can lordalex and I both go to Asda, or does it just have to be one of us ?
Thanks.

There is nothing else to spend on and food must take priority. A local pub/restaurant is providing hot meals for elderly and those at risk delivered to front door step on a daily basis. £5.95 weekdays and £7.95 for Sunday roast. Sunday roast now ordered for us this week!
Well, we both went and all is well.
I was given a slot of between 8am and 3pm amd was waiting for my email to say my order was ready to collect. No email appeared, so we trundled off in the car to collect it anyway or to speak to someone there if we couldn't. Nobody paid any attention to us on the drive there....no officious policemen.
When we got to Asda, the Click and Collect place was deserted, so I put in my order number, opened the boxes and lordalex put it all in the boot. No human contact at all.
Looked up my order when we got home and saw that it was still showing " preparing for collection" or whatever phrase they use .
Will know again just to take the chance and go when we want to rather than waiting for them to email.
Difficult times for them , I know and the service is very convenient so I shouldn't grumble.
Thanks to everyone who responded.

That’s the important thing :)
Did you get everything you ordered? We had a couple of very acceptable substitutions..lemons instead of limes, a different sliced loaf, nothing important.
We were going to cancel our click and collect for next week but having thought about it, and the way the count of those infected is rising, we’ve decided to keep it and not go to any other shops as we’re both a bit ancient and have underlying health problems.
Stay safe ladyalex.

Thank you Mamya, but I'm afraid we have had to furlough you....I'm sure Boris will come up with some money for me for that.....
Vagus, we got a fair few substitutions, but nothing we particularly wanted to reject. Just happy to be stocked up really. Only thing missing was bananas and we can surely live without them.
Keep safe, stay home , clap tonight.
