>most corona spread is people gobbing over each other

Does that mean it would help if people did wear masks after all so they are less likely to gob on people? Hur hur
^ Sorry, meant to make it clearer this is maff teacher calling PP
bhg I try to be as careful as possible e.g. keeping to 2m separation and avoiding any contact with other people and regular hand washing.
TonyV - I think that's all we can do. We were on the bus a couple of weeks ago, before the lock-down, and a lady got on with a shopping trolley. Having got to her seat she got out her hand sanitiser because she'd been touching bits of the bus. She then put her hands back on her shopping trolley, so picking up any virus which might have been transferred from the bus to her hands and then to the shopping trolley before she sanitized her hands. It's virtually impossible to guarantee you're not going to get any virus on your hands; all you can do is make sure you wash them before there's any risk of you transferring it to your inner body.
I saw a clip of a woman on a train with latex gloves on. She was taking crisps out of a crisp bag and putting them in her mouth with the gloves on.

when I had my hip replaced yearn and yearn agoo - a friend said - "that nurse hasnt changed her plazzy pinny and obviously thinks it is self sterilising between patients"

I was very careful about touched my yaya after that. infected hip is a slow killer

hi maff person - yes it doesnt ADD UP ! - sozza used that yesterday
yeah if they gobbed first into the mask I am sure it would make a difference
no no I mean differentiate the men from the boys ( the gobbers from the gibbers)

If the coronavirus is a... erm... virus, then aurely anti-bacterial wipes wouldn't help. Or would they? Any experts here?
anyway this thread is less crazy than some of the bag-lady threads we have and so .....

only in America
Fauci ( forchy - the story so far - The president doesnt like him mauchy ) has advised that masks should be worn
and this has 'been publicly spurned by the president of the greatest country on earth' etc without further comment
BUT
Fauci's advice doesnt ring true with the gun looby who have:
threatened to shoot him

aaa ya cant shoot im - he's really thweet
burbled the greatest man on earth

onlhy in American ( this i mainly true by the way)
// Or would they? Any experts here?//

of course there is ! Meeeeeee!

there is alot of discussion about wevva a virus is alive or not ( no metab ) . Yeah we are at that level. If a virus is inactivated so dont do narfin ( ever , whatever ) then to my mind it is dead

and so how can we inactivate the virus so it dont do nargin even tho - - it may trigger 'present' on a viral PCR test?

- and yes bacto wipes are better than licking it
and are not better than anti viral ( I dont think there are any around) or dilute bleach or waiting or sterilising

so that should give you a few ideas

Good news for fans of “proper” newspapers.
Ink is thought to kill viruses stone dead
Unless you use fresh gloves for every contact you might protect yourself but you are not protecting others as the surface of the gloves is just as good at spreading bugs as skin..
PP. I trust you do know what you are talking about...? If so, is bleach actually effective against virus? So it's worth wiping bags, handles, knobs etc with bleach (diluted, presumably)? Is it better than anti-bac wipes? I think I already knew that it wasn't better than licking knobs etc. Thanks for your input.
Bleach will of course zap a virus but it’s massive overkill and may harm the surfaces you put it on
