Some talk of life returning to 'normal' once the virus is 'under control', so to speak. However, there are also those who talk of our way of life changing as a result of Covid19. Given that many companies are coping very well with many of their staff working from home, I wonder if, in the (hopefully none too distant) future, some of these people will then be asked to continue working from home. That would, perhaps, enable these companies to rent smaller premises and cut their overheads substantially. Is this too simplistic a view?

No my response was more for jno, I don't for a minute think most people could work from home and it's only controlling managers who stop them.
if david small had diversified his business he could have made a pile
It would be good to if fewer people went flying around the world for business meetings in the future. My son has tried to convince me that 20 minutes face to face is worth a far longer meeting over the internet. Hmmm.....
After 911, Dubya introduced Homeland Security laws that have never been repealed.
After Covid 19, the new laws or part of them could be kept on the statute books.
Lots of changes there.

it can be. a teleconference provides many more opportunities for obfuscation - whereas 20mn sat shuffling uncomfortably in front of your peers with a "please explain" in your hand is much more effective at reaching a conclusion.
I think that both F to F and remote depend on who is running the meeting.
