Tuesday. I woke up at 0230 and thought it was 0610. How daft can you get!
There is a big bright moon shining making it almost like daylight. Five hedgehogs mooching about in the back garden. I love watching them. :o}
Some essential shoplifting today, so I'm going to escape for a while.

Hi theland.... I am not technical at all. I have checked the fuses in the oven and the fuse box, and switched it off and on. That is about my limit x
However, the man that usually mends my appliances has rung back and offered a new one, installed, plus removing old one for £350. So I will go with that. Thank you though xx it is just over 13 years old, so maybe was just a matter of time.... x

TonyV - as you clearly have a car so carrying shopping is not an issue, there is absolutely no need to go shopping every day, especially as you have a wife who is vulnerable. Once a week shopping should be more than adequate.

diddly I refuse to go to supermarkets at the moment and cannot get a delivery slot for the next 3 weeks, so I will continue with my daily shop, at a safe distance.

Much more dangerous going to your "daily shop" every day than the supermarket once a week or even every 2 weeks.

In your opinion, not mine, I am well spaced from other people, far more than Government guidelines, use a debit card rather than cash. People who have disregarded the guidelines and meeting in parks and out walking in groups have far more to answer to than me. Not trying to divert my views, just a comment.

Diddly you want to ban buying a Daily newspaper as well, I can use online news, but wife is not that computer savvy.

Yes I could do that I suppose, might try it for a while, thanks for advice. Had a milkman at one time, but he was unreliable.
