Are we nearly there yet?
I phoned my son whilst at work to ask him if he could get a loaf of bread. (By the time I finish work, the bloody shelves are empty...no point anymore in even trying to get bread etc)
He managed to buy a loaf. On the way back he stopped to speak, briefly, to a friend,
Promptly got moved on by plod.
Here it comes....
Dont speak to a friend in passing whatever you do.

I don't think it's OTT. vulnerable people still need to shop. It's not fair if they have to encounter a group of people flouting the rules.
Nailit's original question cited cops telling people to leave even though they'd been 2 metres apart while talking. What's the point in the government saying how much distance you should have if the police are going to enforce something else?
True, jno.
No one should be stopping to talk to friends. There are mobile phones for that. It therefore falls into the unnecessary category.
