What a marvellous invention.
Last night we had a wonderful over two hour conversation with family thanks to the above.
It was as if we were all sitting in our living room, having a drink and chatting. We had a laugh, we spoke about serious things, but just generally enjoyed being in each other’s company, virtually.
During all this corona stuff, I’m so grateful to technology.
To answer some of the points above:
Zoom's 40-minute limit (for users of the free service) only applied when there were 3 or more users in the group; people using it for one-to-one communications didn't face such limits. However the limit was lifted altogether a few weeks back. (It's not clear whether it's just a temporary measure or whether the limit has gone for good though):
