Microsoft have sent out an automatic security patch for about 23 vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer. It now crashes on perfectly good HTML code in Websites. Goodness knows if it allows the malicious stuff in, but the sons of fun have got it wrong, and have said so in a recent announcement. They say they are going to put it right on a patch to be issued on 22nd August. Meanwhile, why not try out Firefox? It's free and fun, and you can always go back to IE if you don't like it. It is, however much more stable and proof against nasties.
