Can I Use This Paint?

I’ve found a tin of brilliant white matt. I’ve written June 2014 on lid when I painted the coat cupboard.
There is at least half a tin left and I need to do the cupboard that OH has just removed the immersion tank from.
Do you think it will be ok, maybe just as a first coat?

Stir it first and test on a piece of old wood.

Give it a stir (outside) and smell it, too. If it's off, it will most probably look like curdled milk and have quite a rank smell.

If it goes on the brush, and then on the wall ok, yes. If it's solid, then no.

Paint was fine. Second coat tomorrow.
